This is a larger size painting than I am used to doing. I usually draw and I am scared of painting. When I have painted I have usually restricted myself to tiny sizes or just portraits. This is my first attempt at a real crowd scene or any scene at all. (I am tempted to redo the foreground doctor, to make him less cartoonish and more realistic, but for now, I will keep him as originally done. However, I don’t like the illustration quality of this painting, and want to learn how to be more painterly, so to speak!)
Dear Marie, thank you for your support. I really appreciate it. I never quite know when to stop and when a picture is finished…

Yeah, I wanted to title it after Dr Michael Balkunas at New Britain General Hospital that Bastard, but he didn’t really have red eyes…Hah! But he was a bastard. He actually believed or said he did that the state hospital would be a good place to help me. Actually I do not know what he believed, I only know what he said, and that was bullshit. He said a lot of things that were bullshit so what he believed was crap. And he never did a thing to help me, he only tortured me. According to a supposedly good nurse, Balkunas “never gave up on a patient” yet he never once talked to me and he shot me up with Prolixin and restrained and secluded me illegally and regularly…So what was that all about? Caring about me? With caring people like that, who needs enemies?! But of course, New Britain General is NOT about caring nurses and doctor but only about control and coercion and torture, and they made that clear from the start.
