How this sort of chair appeared in the psych unit at Manchester Hospital in Connecticut in 2010 is beyond me, but if they simply had one lying around, it is truly horrifying and speaks volumes about the level of brutality that must have been SOP in that unit, and was not just special treatment applied to me.
