  1. Hi Sophia I missed this comment but I see you wrote only a few days ago, so I’m not too late. Things are going surprisingly well, and I am off to France at the end of September. Life as I now know really is short, and needs to be enjoyed! Hope you are well. If you are up to visiting Vermont you would be welcome here. My car is out of service for the time being, hopefully I’ll be back on the road again eventually.
    Best wishes,

    Phoebe

  7. ” Joy shared is joy multiplied. Grief shared is grief diminished.” That is an indigenous saying that has been attributed to an African tribe and to a South American one. I believe it reflects Humanity at its best. I am holding Witness. I am sending love and light, as I read the outpouring of support for you in this time of grief, Phoebe. Keep breathing. Find your Center. Stay in your courageous and open heart.

  11. Phoebe, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to call you Pam in my earlier comment. I read this and I commented three hours ago, and I can’t stop thinking about this. I want to cry. I did not know your sister, my sorrow and tears are for you. Oh I am so sorry. Tears.. I am crying for you.

  12. Pam and family,
i am devastated to hear of our beloved Carolyn. She is the best. My heart is broken for all of you, and selfishly me. I considered her family and my bf. I have known her for 31 years as both a patient and colleague – she is my mentor. All love to you and the family, Ellen Miller-Pond
